TabTrade - What It Is
TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, under Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.
His background matters. It says the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. It is preferable to a random name you cannot trace.
The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. These guys led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.
The instrument list: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a platform that launched in March 2026, the breadth is not narrow.
What You Trade On
You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Having both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, EAs, huge user base. If you have traded on MT4 or MT5 previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Many people prefer it after using both.
FIX API is offered for bots but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is apparently on the roadmap. That would round things out when it lands.
Costs
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. So your all-in cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most platforms that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade does not.
VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not relevant to typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.
Execution Speed
The speed is where this broker actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. The average platform operate at a much wider range.
Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you swing trade, you will not notice. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That says what kind of broker this is.
Combine that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package holds up. Not many platforms in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.
Safety
Here is the part that matters. TabTrade is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If that is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. There are tier-1 alternatives out there.
That said. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Scam brokers do not invest in Equinix connectivity. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. It should factor into your assessment.
What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether that works is your call.
Deposit Bonus
TabTrade has bonus funds of up to $2,000. Standard deposit match. You put money in, the broker add bonus funds. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before you commit.
